Potty trained
Liani just turned 2, and for a few weeks now, she's been off diapers. She is faithful to ask when she needs to go potty and has had only a few accidents. It's so nice when kids make these big leaps in their progress and growing up.
She is quite the talker and comes up with the most amazing "grown up" comments. She loves talking on the phone, dressing, trying on new clothes, changing her clothes, checking her looks in the mirror, etc....a true girl.
Growing up with 2 older brothers, she does have her bully side too. She likes to rough and tumble. Being an Aries, she is very determined and likes to do everything herself. Oh, and she "knows everything" too.

day 2 & 3

We miss mommy
I started to write a post yesterday, but didn't get past the first few words. Anyway, AnG made it to her destination safely. Was only a bit bothered by the stuffy train compartment.
The same night AnG left, Liani came down with a cough, and decided to start some more teething. So she was up half the night with fever and coughing. I managed about 4-5 hours of sleep. During the day she's better, but still a bit grumpy.
Tonight I called Italy to let the kids talk to AnG. Liani was a bit fussy, but she quieted down as soon as I put the phone to her ear, and she could hear AnG talking...then she broke out into a big smile. The sweet sound of mommy's voice.
Well, two more days to go. Please pray Liani sleeps better at night..so I can sleep better too.

TEETH

Smile any more and it'll fall off......
Liani's teeth finally came through...teeth as in TWO if them at once! Her two bottom teeth poked through at the same time. So yeah, she a bit fussy at times, but overall she is quite the happy baby. Very active, crawling and climbing all over the place.
She's had a runny nose the last two weeks, so pray that she gets over that soon.
Thanks!!

too much too soon?
With Liani growing so fast, she has taken a keen interest in the keyboard. No, not the musical one (as I'm sure her mother would prefer), but rather my computer keyboard.
So, when she is sitting with me on my lap, and I want to do something at the computer, I've had to get her her own keyboard. Otherwise, she won't be quite, and reaches out and adds letters to whatever I'm typing. If I'm chatting or writing an email, I can explain it, and it's cute. If I'm trying to re-code a page or work out some PHP script, the browser is less accepting of the extra characters.

growing

Liani is now 4 1/2 mos. She is as active as can be, and then some. Really attent to all around her, and craves much attention.
A real bundle of joy to everyone.
