Meebo
I Just came across meebo - a new ajax-based instant messaging web-application, which combines several instant messaging protocols like icq, aim, yahoo messenger, msn, jabber and gtalk like the well known trillian client.
The big difference is, you don't need to install any client! meebo is a completely "install-free" web-application developed with ajax (asynchronous javascript and xml).
I tried it briefly, and worked quite nicely!

Mepis Linux

MEPIS Linux is desktop Linux the way you want it.
Some time back I posted about my Desktop running Ubuntu. Since then I have switched to the Mepis distro, and have been having a really great time with it.
I haven't had time to delve into it as much as I need to/want to, but it works for what I need it to for now. I still need to install a Window$ imulator for the Fam. appz (infostore/Teletrf) to run on it. I knnow infostore should work...not sure of the other.
For some time I've already been using appz that are linux based on my Win2000 laptop:OpenOffice, Firefox, Thunderbird (email).
So, if anyone is looking to break the micro$oft bonds, try out Mepis. They have a great support forum, lots of friendly help.

Stats Page
I came across this nifty code that grabs data from webalizer stats, and displays it to the public so you do not have to let people into cPanel.
I wanted to use it here in my s9y blog, but it wasn't working as a php-script-include. Thankfully, Garvin Hicking came to the rescue, and after his modifying the script a few times and testing it out, he made it into a Serendipity Plug-in.
You can follow the thread here.
You can now view the stats for my blog here: Stats Page
You can download the Serendipity plugin here: serendipity_event_cpanel.zip
If you don't use Serendipity (you really should), but have Webalizer stats on your host and would like to display them for your public, you can download the script here: webalizer_stats.php.zip
Open the scriptin your favorite editor and edit the following lines to suite your needs:
Any problems with it, just contact me and I'll try and help you sort it out.
Again, a big thank you to Garvin for his time and work in making this plugin work.
Long live S9Y!
