It's a boy!
I'll take advantage of the title to announce 2 boys: Congrats to Marco and Angel in the Ukraine, on the birth of their baby boy!! A long awaited moment. I know Marco is already showing him tabs, and getting him to hold drum-sticks.
It's been confirmed...(ahem, some time back).... Number 5 is on the way! We were hoping for a girl, but the lords knows best.
Angie is due the 16th of June. As far as i know, that's the scheduled c-section. She's had 3 already, and the last time she tried naturally but it didn't work. So, please keep her in your prayers. This time around has been a bit more difficult and tiring.
And, if you'd like to send something for the new pooch, you can click here.
Mommy also is hoping for some extra gifts.
Below is the latest ultra-sound from last week. When I got home I showed Liani (2 1/2) and said "look, you baby brother". She looked for a bit and said "that's a weird baby".

Happy Birthday Loxy

You may not think it's the most flattering photo, but it's what I had on file and a good illustration of the great creature you are.
It's been a long time since I've actually seen you, but there are fond memories of hanging out with you and Nat. I was on my way to Africa and you warmly took me into your home, helped me find a job, took me shopping, lots of good advice and fun times together.
I'm glad that we didn't lose contact over the years, and it's been heart warming to see your family blossom and grow.
Here's to many more happy years for you and yours!
"You can not lose, if you keep up the fight".
Happy Birthday Loxy!

Sunday report
Liani came home this evening. I went to the train stop to pick them up and as soon as she saw me, she ran down the platform as fast as her little legs could carry her shouting "Dadddddyyyyyyyyy", and gave me the tightest hug. Such a love. I missed her so much. She had a great time, was a good girl, and has lots of stories to tell.
This morning I took the boys sledding. It's been a sad winter so far. No snow until yesterday and down here where we are, it's already turned to ice.
But up in Bäretswil, the snow is nice, there a small ski lift, and it's less then 15 min away.
Anyway, here's some clips from my cell phone. Crappy quality, but something...

Update on Evlyne
Marz has returned home but baby Evlyne had to remain in the hospital. Marz has finally been able to post on her blog, and there's more about it all here: http://www.themineos.info/2008/01/evlyne-lafae.html
In summery:
Thank you for praying for them!!
In summery:
-For the bilirubins to go down drastically and for them to stay down after they remove the lamps and let her be out for a prolonged period.
-For her eyes to not get affected by this light. She has to wear a mask over her eyes to protect them, but she doesn't like it much and often tries to move it away from her eyes, and since the nurses can't be looking at her constantly, there are times when her eyes get exposed.
-Against dehydration as this light causes her to become somewhat dehydrated. Thankfully, she's nursing very well and I have a lot of mike PTL!
-For her to be able to leave the hospital very soon and come home without any further complications.
-For Alice to deal well with this situation and continue to be happy and cheerful.
-For Tino's and my strength and for continued trust in the Lord's care of our little one.
Thank you for praying for them!!
