Tears Can Be a Telescope

Since returning from Lithuania, I haven't had the time to update here, but for now, here's something I read today that I wanted to share with you:

Tears can be a telescope
Rough which we see the heavens,
You'll never have a triumph without trial,
Men are brought to waters deep not to drown them,
But to cleanse them,
And earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal

The course of true love never runs smooth,
But blessed are they which mourn and mend,
Each day puts a man on trial,
Each evening passes judgment;
The swallows of sorrow may fly overhead
While troubles become tools,
But don't ever let them build a nest in your hair,
While we're fashioned for a better world

Each life's a fresh start from God to the world,
Don't let your chances like sunbeams pass you by,
The flowers of all the tomorrow's
Are there in the seeds you hold today,
Trying times are times to try,
Not to stand in our way,
We can only get nowhere today
When we're tied down in yesterday
