What to say...again
...again, because as I clicked on post, my network dropped out....so I lost my post! Arrrrggg!!! Ok, another chance for the weapon of praise.
So, as I was saying, Germany didn't work out as we hoped. Turns out the fans weren't too interested in balloons.
So, we came back early. Been back for over a week, but haven't had the time to post updates here....still don't, just had to make the time.
So, back to the usual.....running around like a chicken with it's head cut off.
Since yesterday, I've started waking up at 6:30am, in order to get extra time with the Lord.
Had a slow OR morning today, but prayed with this super sweet (and oh so hot) chick. She SMS'd me latter saying how much our meeting her was a godsend. That made my day. Our efforts are worth it after all. It's not every day (or week) that you meet a sheep here, but when you do, it's usually deep!
Umm, what else had I posted....already changed 90% of it.
Tomorrow is my BD. Wasn't gonna mention it, but then, what the heck. Should I mention the paypal link? Nah....nevermind.
I hope it's not too hot tomorrow. I have a full day out on OR, and the weekly shopping in the evening.
I miss my friends......

Germany, here we come
So, tomorrow I'm off to Germany for ten days. Gonna do some ballooning and witnessing around some of the stadiums.
Pray the fund-raising goes extra good, as we really need the financial boost!
So this quiet blog might be even quieter for the next 2 weeks. If I get a chance, I'll post something from there.
Laterz....

George Bush, king of Iraq
Quoted from D. Johnson's blog:
I was reading CNN this morning and came across an interview with Michael Berg, the father of U.S. businessman Nicholas Berg (who was beheaded in May 2004). He brings out a great angle on forgiveness. However my favourite quotes are from the end of the article:
O’BRIEN: There’s a theory that a struggle for democracy, you know…
BERG: Democracy? Come on, you can’t really believe that that’s a democracy there when the people who are running the elections are holding guns. That’s not democracy.
O’BRIEN: There’s a theory that as they try to form some kind of government, that it’s going to be brutal, it’s going to be bloody, there’s going to be loss, and that’s the history of many countries — and that’s just what a lot of people pay for what they believe will be better than what they had under Saddam Hussein.
BERG: Well, you know, I’m not saying Saddam Hussein was a good man, but he’s no worse than George Bush. Saddam Hussein didn’t pull the trigger, didn’t commit the rapes. Neither did George Bush. But both men are responsible for them under their reigns of terror.
I don’t buy that. Iraq did not have al Qaeda in it. Al Qaeda supposedly killed my son.
Under Saddam Hussein, no al Qaeda. Under George Bush, al Qaeda.
Under Saddam Hussein, relative stability. Under George Bush, instability.
Under Saddam Hussein, about 30,000 deaths a year. Under George Bush, about 60,000 deaths a year. I don’t get it. Why is it better to have George Bush the king of Iraq rather than Saddam Hussein?
